Preface
Preface
Sri Ramachandraji Maharaj of Sahajahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, affectionately known as Babuji Maharaj by his disciples was born on 30th April, 1899. At the age of about 22 years he came in contact with his spiritual master Sri Ramachandraji Maharaj of Fatehgarh, Uttar Pradesh also known as Lalaji Maharaj. Revered Lalaji Maharaj, the Adi Guru of the system to whom the credit of having revived the ancient method of yogic transmission (Pranahuti) goes, led his disciple Sri Ramachandraji Maharaj of Sahajahanpur, to the highest state of spiritual perfection. Indeed in the spiritual history of mankind it is the first known example of sea (Lalaji Maharaj) merging in the drop (Babuji Maharaj). Revered Lalaji Maharaj structured his disciple in such a way that towards the end of 1944 a Supreme Personality came into being in the form of Revered Babuji Maharaj who is and who would be guiding the spiritual destinies of whole of humanity for another millennia. Revered Babuji Maharaj was a grihasta who led the life of simplicity and moderation, a life dedicated to the spiritual welfare of humanity. He was an embodiment of love and he laid foundation for a new world order grounded in spirituality. He gave humanity a practicable, dynamic method for practice, a scientific system, a well laid out path towards Infinity. Revered Babuji Maharaj discovered two points- Point ‘A’ and Point ‘B’ which are very helpful in sadhana on which the efficacy of the system is based. His assured support through Pranahuti is a boon to humanity. Having finished his task he left his mortal coil on 19th April 1983 leaving his consciousness percolating to the whole of universe which is guiding the spiritual destinies of all.
The messages of the Great master delivered on various occasions along with the books published by him enable correct understanding of the system of Sri Ramachandra’s Raja Yoga. The messages of the Master in a nutshell cover the fundamental principles, the essence of the system, the dynamic nature of the methods and many more relevant practical aspects which are very essential to any Sadhaga.
To understand and grasp the real meaning and significance of any message of the Master one has to be prayerfully meditative. This exercise has to be continued several times while treading the path under his guidance. The Supreme Master Sri Ramachandraji Maharaja has given humanity many hints for speedy progress on the path. The discerning seekers have to understand, implement and execute the various instructions contained in the messages. In addition, every serious disciple of the master has to be very alert during meditation with an unflickering orientation to Him so as to be able to receive and catch any further, both for the individual and the larger good.
This book “Showers of Divine Grace” categorises the system topic-wise for better appreciation of the messages. I am sure this would be of immense help and assistance to all the serious practicants. Therefore, I appeal to all brothers and sisters to prayerfully go through the messages of the Master and meditate over the true meaning of the words contained in them so as to reap the fullest benefit.
